Inclusion Accelerator Skills Bootcamp
Power up your leadership. Embed Inclusion that lasts.
Engaging, practical and designed for change, Gritty Talent’s Inclusion Accelerator Skills Bootcamp has been thoughtfully developed to turbo charge inclusivity in the creative sector.
The programme is open to 20 leaders, hiring managers & EDI leads within creative sector organisations and companies in the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority (WEMCA) region.
This dynamic guided learning programme, with the outcome of creating a company specific implementation plan, will be delivered by Gritty Talent’s own senior leaders who are creative industry professionals and EDI (Equity Diversity and Inclusion) specialists.
Following the success of this programme with both individual clients and cohorts of companies in partnership with Focus Scotland, Media Cymru, the BBC and Channel 4 we are delighted to bring our Inclusion Accelerator programme to creative sector companies within Bristol, Bath and the surrounding areas.
To further boost the effectiveness of this programme we invite companies to take part in an optional workforce survey so that we can work with your company’s employee data on guiding your strategy.
Places will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis to eligible learners.
The programme is heavily subsidised by funding provided by WEMCA (up to 90%)

We have designed the schedule with busy creatives in mind. The biggest commitment we ask of you is an open mind and a passion to implement change.
The course comprises of 8 days of training delivered once a fortnight over a 14 week period (60 guided learning hours)
All workshops are in person at central Bristol locations.
We request that learners ensure they are available for all course dates. It is not possible to reallocate places once the Bootcamp has commenced. Dropouts result in us losing funding for that place.

Yes absolutely. In fact we encourage it. Change is much more effective when leaders from within the same company are working together, aligning goals and strategies.

The Workforce Survey helps us capture demographic information and staff perceptions of inclusion. This gives each company a snapshot of what is working well and where there is room to improve. The insights are then used to shape workshop discussions, tailor activities, and highlight sector-wide barriers.
Taking part in the Workforce Survey is completely optional. If your company cannot share data, you will still be able to fully participate in all Bootcamp workshops and activities. As an alternative, participants who already hold workforce data are welcome to use it as a reference point to support workshop discussions and insights as well.
For those who do take part in the workforce survey, each company will receive a confidential report on its own workforce profile and a combined cohort report showing overall trends and themes across all participating organisations.
All survey responses are collected and analysed securely by Gritty Talent Group Ltd using the Sogolytics platform. Data is handled in line with UK GDPR principles — responses are stored securely, shared only in aggregated and anonymised form, and never used to identify individuals.

Our services focus on under-represented groups and we know that simply having a more diverse workforce does not equate to inclusion, opportunity and progression.
We have a track record of delivering UK-wide EDI training initiatives for ScreenSkills, Production Guild of Great Britain, Channel 4, BBC, University of Bristol, MyWorld, Media Cymru, RTS, Screen Alliance Wales as well as for UK Broadcasters, Production and Post-Production companies.
As creative industry professionals ourselves we understand the unique landscape in which our clients operate.
Through our training programmes we help leaders become confident and fluent in inclusive leadership, creating better work environments for their teams and driving talent retention and progression for people from under-represented groups.
